‍Every year, Africell – a leading pan-African mobile network operator – hosts a series of marathons in cities across the continent, including Banjul, Freetown, Kenema, Makeni and Kinshasa.

Africell marathons are open to locals and visitors as well as both serious athletes and beginners. The marathons give participants a unique perspective on some of Africa’s most interesting urban environments.

Africell marathons are affordable and open to all applicants, although spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged. They are organised with the generous support and helpful collaboration of numerous partners, including charities, local governments and other companies.
